The South Carolina Asphalt Pavement Association (SCAPA) announced today that Jayson Jordan, P.E. has joined SCAPA as the Technical Director.
Prior to joining SCAPA, Jordan was the Materials Management Engineer at the South Carolina Department of Transportation’s Office of Materials and Research. He also served as Manager of SCDOT’s Hot Mix Asphalt Verification mobile laboratory in West Columbia. He completed his B.S and M.S. degrees in civil engineering from Clemson University. While at Clemson, he served as an undergraduate research assistant and graduate teaching assistant at the Asphalt Rubber Technology Service (ARTS) laboratory. Jordan will be the technical resource for SCAPA and will provide technical assistance to SCAPA members, state and local agencies, as well as professional engineers, architects and developers.
SCAPA is a non-profit trade association dedicated to the promotion of asphalt pavement. Its membership is comprised of asphalt producers and companies affiliated with the asphalt industry in South Carolina.
